SeputarBantenID – Wakil Wali Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel), Pilar Saga Ichsan turun langsung melakukan pengecekan pembersihan sampah ke lokasi aliran Kali Angke yang melintasi beberapa RT dan RW di Kelurahan Mekarjaya, Kecamatan Serpong pada Rabu (14/5/2025).
Pilar mengambil tindakan tegas untuk segera menormalisasi Kali Angke dengan melakukan pembersihan, guna menangani persoalan serius tumpukan sampah serta kayu bambu yang menyumbat aliran sungai dan mengakibatkan banjir di lingkungan warga sekitar.
Didampingi Dinas Sumber Daya Air, Bina Marga dan Bina Konstruksi (DSDABMBK) Tangsel, camat, pengurus RW, serta tokoh masyarakat setempat, Pilar menegaskan pentingnya penanganan cepat terhadap kondisi sungai yang memprihatinkan.
“Nah, ini penyumbatannya cukup parah, dikhawatirkan nanti terjadi penumpukan yang lebih parah lagi dan juga khawatir menyumbat saluran air pada saat hujan. Jadi kami melalui Dinas Bina Marga dan SDA langsung melakukan perapihan,” ujar Pilar.
Pembersihan Kali Angke hari ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Mekarjaya, Serpong tepatnya di Jalan Mentawai 5 dan 6 (RT 05), Jalan Mentawai 4 (RT 03), Jalan Bintan (RT 02), dan Jalan Bintan 4 (RT 01).
Proses normalisasi akan berlangsung selama 3 hingga 5 hari, tergantung pada cuaca dan kondisi lapangan. Sekitar 34 petugas diterjunkan untuk membersihkan sampah sepanjang 30 meter dengan lebar sungai sekitar 17 meter di titik rawan tersebut.
Menanggapi potensi bahaya penggunaan alat berat di lokasi yang curam dan aliran yang deras dalam pembersihan tumpukan sampah itu, Pilar menyebut, pihaknya sedang mengkaji berbagai opsi aman, termasuk pengerjaan manual yang tetap mengedepankan keselamatan petugas.
Bukan hanya sekadar pembersihan, Pemkot Tangsel juga akan membangun turap dan memasang beronjong di titik rawan longsor untuk memperkuat struktur tepi sungai.
“Di titik spot rawan, seperti yang di sini kita lihat tadi itu spot rawan, karena khawatir semakin ambles lagi kita akan melakukan pemasangan beronjong,” ujarnya.
Pemasangan turap ataupun beronjong ini akan dikoordinasikan dengan Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS), karena sungai ini termasuk wilayah kerja BBWS.
Ke depan, Pemkot Tangsel juga melanjutkan pembangunan infrastruktur pengendali banjir seperti tandon, polder air, dan pompa di sejumlah titik rawan.
Namun, Pilar juga mengajak masyarakat untuk tidak lagi membuang sampah sembarangan ke sungai untuk menjaga kebersihan sungai ini dalam jangka panjang.
Menurutnya, kebersihan lingkungan termasuk area sungai merupakan tanggung jawab dan kewajiban bersama, tidak hanya instansi dan pemerintah daerah, tetapi masyarakat juga.
“Kami mengimbau kepada masyarakat Tangerang Selatan untuk tidak membuang sampah sembarangan, karena ini nanti akan mengakibatkan masalah banjir dan lain sebagainya,” jelasnya.
Dari hasil pengamatan di lokasi tumpukan sampah tersebut banyak sekali sampah-sampah seperti kain, plastik, beberapa bekas perabotan rumah tangga, dan lain sebagainya.
