Pemkot Tangsel Bagikan Ribuan Bendera Merah Putih
Wali Kota Benyamin saat membagikan bendera merah putih ke jajarannya. SEPUTARBANTENID – Pemerintah Kota Tangerang Selatan (Tangsel) membagikan ribuan bendera Merah Putih dalam menyambut Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-80 Republik Indonesia (RI).
Wali Kota Tangsel Benyamin Davnie mengatakan, pembagian bendera Merah Putih itu secara teknis didistribusikan dari kecamatan ke kelurahan.
“Satu kelurahan dibagikan 70 bendera yang akan dipasang secara masif di semua kelurahan sampai dengan akhir Agustus 2025,” kata Benyamin, usai memimpin rapat forkopimda di wilayah Serpong, pada Rabu (13/08/2025).
Diketahui, jumlah kelurahan di Kota Tangsel terdapat 54 kelurahan yang tersebar di 7 kecamatan. Diperkirakan, total ada sekitar 3.780 bendera Merah Putih yang dibagikan ke kelurahan untuk dipasang di wilayah masing-masing.
Benyamin menuturkan, pemasangan bendera Merah Putih secara masif di 54 kelurahan itu merupakan program rutin setiap peringati HUT RI.
Tujuannya, kata Benyamin, untuk meningkatkan jiwa nasionalisme khususnya warga Kota Tangsel dan terus komitmen menjaga keutuhan dan keutuhan Republik Indonesia.
“Tema HUT RI tahun ini Bersatu Berdaulat, Rakyat Sejahtera, Indonesia Maju, jadi dalam rangka menunjukkan bersatu dan berdaulat untuk Indonesia maju jadi dipasang bendera secara masif di seluruh wilayah di Tangsel,” tutur Benyamin.
Untuk peringati HUT ke-80 RI, Pemkot Tangsel bakal menggelar upacara peringatan Kemerdekaan Indonesia dan pengibaran bendera Merah Putih pada 17 Agustus 2025 di Batalyon Kavaleri 9 di Serpong Utara.(*)
