Menteri Fadli Zon bersama Pj Gubernur A Damenta dan Jajarannya di Kawasan Banten Lama. SeputarBantenID – Menteri Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Fadli Zon melakukan kunjungan kerja (kunker) di Kawasan Banten Lama, Kecamatan Kasemen, Kota Serang, Minggu (19/1/2025).
Menteri Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Fadli Zon mengatakan kebudayaan merupakan aset yang penting, terlebih kebudayaan yang ada di Indonesia sangat luar biasa.
“Tadi kita sudah lihat, bagaimana kekayaan dari peninggalan-peninggalan warisan budaya masa lalu yang ada di Situs Banten Lama,” ujarnya.
Dalam kunjungan kerja tersebut, Fadli Zon beserta rombongan berkunjung ke Benteng Speelwijk, Keraton Kaibon, Keraton Surosowan, Masjid Agung Banten dan Museum Kepurbakalaan Banten Lama.
“Ini menunjukan, bahwa setiap daerah kita memiliki kekayaan budaya yang luar biasa, termasuk di Provinsi Banten. Peninggalan ini sesuai dengan amanat Undang-Undang tidak cukup hanya dilestarikan dan dilindungi, tetapi setelah dilindungi itu dapat dikembangkan, dimanfaatkan dan juga dibina,” pungkasnya.

Sementara itu Penjabat (Pj) Gubernur Banten A Damenta mengatakan pelestarian kebudayaan membutuhkan sinergi dan kolaborasi semua pihak. Menumbuhkembangkan dan mengedukasi kepada generasi muda.
“Kami menyadari pelestarian budaya tidak hanya sinergi pemerintah pusat dan daerah, tetapi juga membutuhkan sinergi stakeholder terkait,” ungkap A Damenta.
“Kita akan kolaborasi dengan seluruh penggiat kesenian, kebudayaan, sejarawan, dan akademisi yang ada di Provinsi Banten agar kita tidak kehilangan kaidah lokalnya,” sambungnya.
Pada kesempatan itu, A Damenta menyampaikan kunjungan Menteri Kebudayaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pendorong dalam upaya pelestarian budaya.
“Poin utama kunjungan kerja ini menjadi motivasi kami, untuk lebih kuat lagi merawat budaya dan sejarah yang ditinggalkan agar lebih lestari,” katanya.
Pada kesempatan itu, Fadli Zon meresmikan Revitalisasi Museum Kepurbakalaan Banten Lama Kementerian Kebudayaan Balai Pelestarian Kebudayaan Wilayah VIII.
